    Excerpt
President Duterte may need more help in getting “fuller briefing” on the developments in the South China Sea or the West Philippine Sea, former Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario said on Friday. Del Rosario made this comment in response to Duterte’s reactions to at least two major incidents in the highly volatile region – the harassment of Philippine Navy troops in Ayungin Shoal and the country’s loss of effective control of Sandy Cay. “There appears to be an urgent need for our President to require a fuller briefing from his people as shown, for instance, by his reactions to developments in the South China Sea and, in particular, the West Philippine Sea,” Del Rosario said in a statement.
