    The use of chemicals like cyanide in the preparation and sterilization of fishponds nationwide post a threat to both the environment and millions of fish consumers. The promotion of an alternative that is both effective and environment-friendly to harmful chemicals may change all that. Studies by a team for the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (Seafdec) in Tigbauan, Iloilo under Dr. Joebert D. Toledo confirm TDP's efficacy.
