The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has stepped up patrols at the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park off the main land mass of Palawan as it sent a patrol boat and additional personnel to the area with the diving season underway. Commodore George Ursabia, PCG district commander in Palawan, said that the travel of divers to Tubbataha is being regulated in order to ensure their safety and that all laws and regulations are followed.
