    Whale dies off Calauag coast

    A 40-foot whale was stranded at the sea waters off barangay Bangkorohan, this town, but reportedly died after several hours due to wounds, said Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRMO) officer, yesterday. Dr. Henry M. Buzar, PDRRMO action officer that based on reports to him as of yesterday, the whale was seen lying at a deep part of the sea. Police said the whale was seen almost one kilometer away from the shore, with an estimate length of 40 feet, longer than a passenger bus, five feet in diameter and 10 feet in height.
