Authorities arrested 12 fishermen using trawl off the coasts of Baliguian Island in Concepcion on Thursday. The fishermen from Victorias City, Negros Occidental were intercepted by the Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force. Using trawl in fishing is prohibited under Municipal Ordinance No. 1, series of 2008 of Concepcion and Section 86 of Republic Act 8550 (Unauthorized Fishing).
