Excerpt
The Philippine government will tap Hungary’s treatment solution to rehabilitate Laguna Lake, the largest lake in the Philippines and the second largest inland freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. In line with the government’s plan to rehabilitate Laguna Lake, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol and Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) General Manager Joey C. Medina recently met with Hungarian Water Technology Corporation Chief Executive Officer Adrián Kiss here in Manila. To be exact, LLDA and Hungarian Water Technology Corporation hopes to conduct a feasibility study for a prototype design that could be a long-term wastewater treatment solution for the Laguna Lake.
