Sagay City smoked fish bizmen get P2.2-M aid

Smoke fish processors in Sagay City, Negros Occidental received P2.2 million worth of assistance from the Department of Science and Technology and from the City Government of Sagay recently. The amount will rehabilitate the group’s smoke fish processing facility. Grace Gargar, Technology and Livelihood Development Center coordinator, said there are 35 and 26 smoked fish processors in Barangay Himogaan Baybay and Barangay Old Sagay, respectively.
