    The Armed Forces of the Philippines- Western Command's naval component, the Naval Forces West and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) is conducting a Maritime Security Activity (MSA) in Palawan starting yesterday, July 16, to July 25. Captain Cherryl P. Tindog, the chief of the Public Affairs Office of the Western Command, disclosed that the bilateral activity aims to enhance training, interoperability, and cooperation between the Philippine Navy (PN) and RAN in addressing terrorism and kidnapping activities within Palawan water lanes that are of common interest to the two countries.
