Ilonggo bikers join Ocean’s Ride

To promote the protection of coastal and marine ecosystems, over 157 cyclists participated in a bike ride, June 3, 2017. Dubbed “Ocean’s Ride” all bikers started their way to the Katunggan Eco-park in Barangays Nabitasan in Leganes and Ermita in Dumangas where they conducted coastal cleanup and mangrove planting. The event has partnered with Foundation for the Philippines Environment, Turing Foundation, Barangay Pedada Fisherfolk Association, Iloilo City Police Office, Iloilo Police Provincial Office, and Philippine Red Cross.
