DENR returns two turtles to sea in Northern Samar

Two turtles where released back to the sea in a town in Northern Samar, according to a report released Friday by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) regional office. Sibbaluca said that based in the report from Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) in Northern Samar, one of the turtles was found ashore in Barangay Magsaysay, Bobon, by a resident and turned over to local authorities. The other animal was found by a fisherman entangled in a fish net in Barangay Lucban in the same town.
