    Excerpt
Eight of 10 Filipinos still think that the government should continue asserting its rights in the disputed West Philippine Sea, the latest. Pulse Asia survey showed Friday, even with President Duterte warming up the country’s ties with its new partner, China. In the nationwide survey of 1,200 adults, 84 percent agreed that the country should uphold its rights in the disputed region as was decided in the Permanent Court of Arbitration last July, 2016.
