    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) will build six more community fish landing centers (CFLC) in Eastern Visayas this year. The centers will be built in Maasin City in Southern Leyte, Tanauan, Abuyog and San Miguel in Leyte, Sto. Niño in Samar, and San Policarpio in Eastern Samar. Each center has a budget of P3 million. “The facility has post-harvest equipment and tools that will enable fisherfolk to preserve the quality of their fish and fishery products, which could be sold at a higher price,” said BFAR Eastern Visayas Regional Director Juan Albaladejo.
