    Red tide still up in Gigantes

    The coastal waters of the popular tourist destination Gigantes Islands in Carles, Iloilo province, is still positive for red tide toxin. On its latest bulletin, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) reported that there was still paralytic poison in that particular area of the Visayan Sea. BFAR Regional Director Remia Aparri warned against eating shellfish harvested from Gigantes.
