    Excerpt
No weapon system will be installed by the government in its planned occupation of the islands located in the West Philippine Sea, President Duterte declared on Monday. The President tried to allay the concerns of China about his order to fortify the Philippine-controlled islands, saying he meant no harm and might even consider the selling the land to Beijing. The President, however, explained that his occupation order was issued due to the “heightening of the geopolitical issues and eventually maybe a violent low-intensity war over here.” But he made clear that he does not want to get involved in a war with nations.
