A five-man international tribunal has decided to conduct next week a second round of hearing on the arguments raised by the Philippines in its territorial claims in the West Philippine Sea before deciding if it has jurisdiction over the case. "The Philippines received word that the Arbitral Tribunal will conduct a second round of arguments on the issue of jurisdiction," Deputy presidential spokeswoman Abigail Valte said in a statement issued last night. Valte assured that the government is prepared to address any questions from The Hague-based tribunal during the next round of oral arguments on the arbitration case filed by Manila against China.
