    The Department of Agriculture (DA) began releasing millions worth of rehabilitation funds for agricultural areas that were hit by Tropical Storm Henry and Tropical Depression Josie. As a start, the agency will soon release 1180 million worth of immediate assistance for the farmers and fisherfolk of the province of Pangasinan. During a dialogue with local government officials in Pangasinan, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol stressed that he wants restoration efforts be implemented as soon as possible.
