AKBAYAN party-list Representatives Ibarra "Barry" Gutierez III and Angelina Katoh asked their colleagues to look into the project's impending adverse impact on the livelihood and settlement of the communities along the shoreline of the Laguna Lake. Citing the reports of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), they said 140, 426metric tons of fish were sourced from Laguna Lake in 2010, which is 17 percent of the country's national production and 58 percent of Region 4's municipal fisheries production.en
