Velma Jane Cubing-Lao of the Iloilo Provincial Planning and Development Office said the two-day forum was very successful as they were able to tie up with big businesses and opened new investments for agricultural products of Iloilo. Lao said two investors took interest in free range chickens while other products such cacao and coffee also attracted new investors and markets. "The investments can even go beyond P500 million. In just one poultry production, you can earn P100 million to P200 million investment," she said. Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. will also convene the PPDO and Provincial Agriculture Office to discuss steps to be undertaken after the agri-aqua forum.
