Rising before dawn to prepare nets, enduring long days at sea, and streching each day's catch to feed the family, Francisca Pasayon, a 57-year-old mother of three from Mahinog, Camiguin Island, grew up in a household where fishing was not just a livelihood but a way of life. She has learned early on that survival often comes from perseverance and unity.
