DSWD Regional Director for Eastern Visayas Restituto Macuto said 52 4Ps beneficiaries are part of the group that protects the mangrove areas in Looc. Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Regional Director Leonardo Sibbaluca said the 18-hectare mangrove forest in this barangay is a sanctuary for birds and other animals. It is also a breeding area of several fish species, he added.en
