In a country blessed with natural resources and prone to weather disturbances, such issues that would have mattered little in terms of entertainment would actually have an immense impact on the lives of so many people. The first issue comes at a time when the Philippines is getting a lot of attention in the tourism map- and how Filipinos could temper the hunger for attracting investments that could potentially bring bane to our ecology. The second issue comes at a time when climate change is already a factor in how we deal with the disasters that have plagued us in recent years.
