    Excerpt
Four coastal waters are still positive for paralytic shellfish poison, popularly known as red tide, which produces potent toxins that can cause a variety of gastrointestinal and neurological illnesses. Residents should temporarily avoid selling and consuming shellfish from the coastal areas of Puerto Princesa, Western Samar, and Masbate due to red tide.
