Two of the 15 coastal towns in the province have received patrol boats from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). The office of the Provincial Agriculture (OPA) headed by Nicolasito Calawag said only Tibiao and Caluya towns received the 35-foot boat because the other towns still have to pass supplemental budgets for counterpart funding. The BFAR requires local governments to provide the accessories for the boat, including the engine.
