Three fishermen from Barangay Culipapa, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental were rescued by a Singaporean-flagged bulk carrier while adrift off Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte on Sunday. A report from the the Philippine Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) stated that the fishermen had been stranded at sea for two days and one night after their fishing boat, MB Princess Henna, sank.
