The damage caused by typhoon "Ineng" (international name: "Goni") in the two Ilocos provinces summed up to P2.8 billion as of yesterday. Latest figures reported by the Ilocos Norte Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) as of 1 p.m. Friday said local infrastructure damage has reached P2.49 billion while agriculture and fisheries absorbed an P89.9-million loss. The PDRRMC in Ilocos Sur, on the other hand, consolidated damage to infrastructure and agriculture at P313 million.
