Twelve of groups of illegal fishers have been arrested by the Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force off the coast of Concepcion here. According to Police officer 3 Charlie Austurias, these fishermen were using fine mesh nets and active gears within the municipal waters of Conception, a violation of Sections 86 and 90 of Republic Act 8550 (The Philippine Fisheries Code).
