One more body was recovered from the capsized sand carrier MV Hong Hai 16 in the waters off Rizal, Occidental Mindoro on Black Saturday, April 19, raising the death toll from the incident to seven. The PCG said the body was retrieved from the accommodation area of the vessel at 3:56 p.m. by personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Special Operations Group-Southern Tagalog and technical wreck divers of the Special Operations Force, who were deployed from Manila to reinforce the search and rescue mission.
