    Excerpt
A fishing community in Zambales received ₱167,480 worth of equipment under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Shared Service Facility (SSF) program. The agency gave the Camiing Fisherfolk Association Incorporated (CAMFAI) a fish grinder, mixing vat, and working tables that will be used for the production of fish paste and other seafood-based product. According to DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles, "Through these equipment, we hope to improve the value of the catch of our fishermen and at the same time provide additional means of livelihood for their families, especially during the typhoon season when they cannot rely on fishing alone." Officials noted that with the dwindling catch by the fishermen in Zambales, it is certainly a big help for them to be provided with other means of livelihood.
