    Excerpt
The West Philippine Sea (WPS) dispute is often framed in the lens of geopolitics, naval patrols, and high-level diplomacy. But as Commodore Jay Tarriela of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rightly pointed out during his recent visit to Iloilo City, the most dangerous threat to Philippine sovereignty today is not just the overwhelming number of Chinese vessels in our waters—it is the disinformation campaign actively shaping public opinion online. That makes this a generational fight, not just a diplomatic or military one.
