    The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in collaboration with the National Irrigation Administration-Magat River Integrated Irrigation System (NIA-Mariis) will rehabilitate the more than 15,000 hectares of watershed area in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley). According to DENR Region 2 Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan, both the DENR and NIA have renewed their commitment to the rehabilitation of the Magat Watershed Forest Reserve (MWFR) covering the provinces of Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya.
