    Excerpt
Fisher folk here has expressed fear that the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources' (BFAR's) implementation of a three-kilos-per-day catch ceiling will significantly hurt the livelihood of the local community. "Mang Gilbert," 55, who spoke to the Manila Bulletin yesterday at Dalahican fish port, here, said close to 3,000 fishermen fear that their families stand to lose much of their income due to BFAR order. He said fishermen here are used to 10 kilos of catch a day and that volume hardly earns them enough to make ends meet.
