A fisherman was attacked by a shark in the sea in the Ilocos region and taken to a hospital here on Saturday, September 9. The Bolinao Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office rescued the victim after receiving a call from a concerned citizen. "Sakay ng banca ang biktima at iba pa na mangingisda na nagtungo sa Ilocos Norte nang bigla nang atakihin ng pating kaya nagkasugat ng malaki sa kanyang hita at inuwi pa ang laman ng kanyang hita (The victim was riding a motor banca with other fishermen after fishing in Ilocos Norte when he was suddenly attacked by a shark.
