The Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) has assured the stability of retail prices for bangus and tilapia in Metro Manila. Based on the DA-BFAR’s report on Wednesday, Jan. 31, the medium-sized bangus from Bulacan and Pangasinan cost P180 per kilo or two to three pieces, while medium-sized tilapia from Batangas and Pampanga cost P120 per kilo. Farmgate prices for tilapia and bangus have also decreased, according to DA-BFAR.
