Officials are strongly warning residents in Capiz province from eating kinds of seafood here for fear of red tide poisoning. “Capizeños are warned and refrained from eating shellfishes, per the advice of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist,” said Capiz Governor Victor Tanco Sr. This, after the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), issued a red tide warning covering Capiz last August 29.
