    Excerpt
A definite action from the Philippine government may be coming up soon in response to China's continued harassment against the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea. Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo said that the Philippines has been making "necessary approaches to China in terms of contacting them through various means to express" Manila's complaint and displeasure at what has been happening in the waters off EScoda Shoal, which is well within the country's exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
