The 51st Iloilo-Guimaras Paraw Regatta, recognized as the most enduring and expansive sailing competition in Southeast Asia, has drawn to a close. This event not only provided thrilling sailboat races but also showcased a tapestry of cultural exhibitions and a commitment to environmental sustainability. This year’s regatta saw the participation of 36 seasoned sailors from various islands, who took part in the central sailing event, demonstrating their skill in handling the traditional paraw sailboats.
