The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) has intensified its training program and technology transfer for the past years. This was disclosed by SEAFDEC director Alfredo C. Santiago, Jr. who said that training serves both the need to strengthen the manpower of an industry and to transfer technologies developed by the training institution as well as appropriate results of research from elsewhere.
