Here’s good news. Seven coastal towns in Surigao del Sur Pacific Ocean facing province are the recipients of this year’s Community Fish Landing Center (CFLC) in the country, it was learned yesterday. It was also learned that these seven towns are among the 252 municipalities/ cities nationwide to benefit from the program of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), as provided for in the 2015 General Appropriations Act. The municipalities that will benefit from the CFLC are Cortes, Cantilan, Marihatag and San Agustin in the 1st District of Surigao del Sur and the towns of Barobo, Hinatuan including Bislig City in the 2nd District of that same province.
