The city government of Sipalay in Negros Occidental, through its Bantay Dagat, released a new batch of sea turtle hatchlings at Poblacion beach on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The nest of these 45 Olive Ridley sea turtles was sighted around November last year, according to Bantay Dagat coordinator Edsel Toledo.
