The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued 18 individuals from a distressed boat in the vicinity waters between Carles Island and Gigantes Island in Iloilo on Saturday, Jan. 21. An incident report from the PCG said motorbanca Prince and Mae was carrying 18 individuals when it encountered engine trouble and stopped working around 10:41 a.m.
