The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and Canned Sardines Association of the Philippines (CSAP) have agreed to ensure continuous and sufficient supply of raw materials for canneries in the country. The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) inked on Monday, Oct. 24, emanated from the recommendations raised by various stakeholders of the country’s sardines industry during a consultation meeting organized by BFAR.
