A coastal town in northern Cagayan is giving home cooks and culinary enthusiasts something to look forward to with the introduction of a new condiment made from oysters — and it is not the ordinary sauce usually sold in the market. Redentor Sebastian calls the new condiment he developed the Don Seba Oyster Bagoong (DSOB). Sebastian said the dip-on- the-side condiment was best used in addition to and not as a replacement for the various dipping sauces people could not live without such as vinegar with chili, calamansi with fish paste topped with chopped tomatoes in fast food chains.
