Authorities rescued 11 individuals, including nine passengers after a pumpboat partially submerged in a sea at the boundary of Barangay Old Airport and Barangay Taba-ao, Sagay City, Negros Occidental Friday afternoon. Police Major Antonio Benitez, city police chief, said the boat was moving towards Suyac island when big waves hit the motorized vessel around 2 p.m.
