    NoLCom lead flag-raising aboard Navy warship

    The Northern Luzon Command (NolCom ) through the Naval Forces Northern Luzon led the flag-raising ceremony Sunday aboard a Philippine Navy warship at is patrolled along the coastal waters of Philippine Rise, formerly known as Benham Rise. Lt. Col Elmar Salvador, NolCom spokesperson, said aside from the historical flag-raising aboard the warship, NolCom soldiers also conducted blood-letting activities inside the Nolcom Headquarters here. Salvador said NolCom has kicked off the 124th celebration of the Philippine Independence Day with a send-off ceremony of a Philippine Navy asset BRP Conrado Yap (PS39) at Soiltech Pier, Barangay Catbangen, San Fernando City, La Union on 10 June 2022, with guests from the Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Air Force and Philippine Army.
