The Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Biodiversity Management Bureau (DENR-BMB) will craft an operational plan to identify short-term and long-term goals and activities that will strengthen the protection and conservation of the country’s coastal and marine ecosystems. The operational plan will be anchored on the stipulations of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) recently signed by the DENR and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) as part of the celebration of the World Ocean Day to address the coastal and marine environment protection and conservation gaps.
