Fishfarmers urged yesterday the aquaculture department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development (Seafdec-AQD) to take into consideration specific fishfarming problems in the planning of its research program. Ramon Doromal Jr., president of the Iloilo Fish Producers Association, said that while Seafdec-AQD has already done much for the development of the aquaculture industry, there is still a pressing need for further research on certain areas of fishfarming.
