Several fishpond groups from various regions led by the Leyte Fishpond Operators Association have hailed the recent appointment of Juanito Malig as new director of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). Romeo S. Movido, president of the Eastern Visayas Federation of Fishermen Association and consultant of the Leyte fishpond group, respectively, said Director Malig is a "a man of proven probit, competent and honest."
