Members of Parliament Narciso D. Monfort (KBL, Iloilo) has filed with the Batasang Pambansa a resolution urging the establishment of regional fish farming assistance units in the country. Resolution No. 586 urged the aquaculture department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (Seafdec-AQD) to set up regional assistance units tasked to disseminate aquaculture technologies.
