Bangus (milkfish) production in the country could be improved to approach or even exceed the 2,000-kilogram per hectare potential yield if the modular pond system of production will be pushed by the government. This was revealed in a research paper prepared recently by Renato Agbayani, Dan Baliao, Nilo Franco, Romulo Ticar and Nicolas Guanzon, Jr., all researchers from the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC).
