The country's first seafarming and searanching center will be built in Culasi town in Antique, the Department of Agriculture (DA) recently announced. The construction and operation of the P12-million project will be jointly funded by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and the International Development Research Center (IDRC) of Canada.
